My apologies everyone for not having the MM of the week up and posted.  Yesterday was a crazy & hectic day.  Go fig, it was a MONDAY!  So Rae stepped in and came up with her MM for the week.  Thanks Rae!

What I’m Reading Now!

I went by my favorite haunt the other day "Barnes & Noble" (didn't I tell you guys I'm a nerd and I love it?) to peruse the newest best sellers.  I walked over to the fashion/self help whatever they call it, section and began looking for something that I could add to my arsenal.  I came across the international bestseller about the world’s most renowned fashion icon, Mademoiselle Gabrielle Chanel, or as we know her by her most famous moniker Coco Chanel.  Coco Chanel: The Legend and the Life by Justine Picardie. So far this book has been a constant page turner.  I am more excited to learn of her humble beginnings and her love for all things extravagant and simple in the same.

Materialistic Monday!!!

I do apologize for not posting a Materialist Monday last week.  Life has a way of making you think and put everything that has importance into perspective. Because things are getting better I cannot gripe about how horrible this Monday is.  Ok the weather is shitty but other than that all is well on the Coast.

Life Changes

I know I haven't posted in a very long time.  There have been a lot of changes in my life and at this point I am trying to figure out the best way to handle things.  I promise I will be back blogging in a few.  I enjoy blogging so much because it gives me an outlet and keeps me occupied.  So very soon I shall return.

So this is what a "Staycation" is?

I am sooo excited to have the next few days off.  I get to catch up on a lot of things that I have put off due to lack of time, energy, and focus.  One of those things is going to my mailbox.  Having had them email me on a few occasions stating my box was overflowing I felt that I should probably head on down there to rummage through all of the fashion magazines that they stuffed in there.  I did receive a package that I had totally forgotten was coming.  My monthly Julep delievery.  YAY!

I couldn't wait to tear into this box.  They always wrap it up so nicely.

The lipa vernis is very sheer with the sofest hint of shimmer.  I tried it on and because my complexion is dark it blended with my lips and made them shine.  It smells like cotton candy which may not be a good thing.  Ill run out of it faster from constant application.

I haven't tried the nail polishes yet but when I do I will make sure to post and give my feedback.

Materialistic Monday

You know what today is? That’s right it’s MONDAY the most lackluster day of the week.  With Monday what is there to be excited about?  Work that was put off on Friday reappearing on your desk on Monday! (Where in the hell did this stack of papers come from?*blank stare!) 

I won’t go to hard on this particular Monday because it is a holiday week. And I only have to work until tomorrow. YAY!!!
